COURSES
- Pascale Boquet (17-19 July). “Improvisation in Renaissance Music”.
- Ariel Abramovich (18-20 July): “Singing with the strings”: 16th-century Music for plucked strings
Each course will be for 4 hours each day, and for a maximum number of 12 students. Price: 60 Euros per student. Click here for further information. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE SOCIEDAD DE LA VIHUELA
- This will take place on the morning of Sunday 17 July
ROUND TABLE OF THE PARTICIPATING SOCIETIES
- Sunday 17 July, 4-6 pm. A round table where the participating Lute Societies will present and discuss forthcoming projects and common issues
II STUDY DAY ON THE VIHUELA
- Iconography, instruments and performance practice. Tuesday 19 July will be devoted to areas of current research with presentation by specialists from France, Italy, Spain and the USA. Coordinated by C. Bordas and J. Griffiths.

- Sociedad de la Vihuela: Exhibition “History of the Vihuela”
SHOWCASE OF INSTRUMENTS AND PUBLISHERS OF BOOKS AND SCORES
- 16-18 July. Opening hours 10.00 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. / 4.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
- There will be over 25 stands featuring instrument makers from across Europe, publishers, and information tables on each of the participating Lute Societies.
